Crazy Feather Outfitters was created by owner Gerry Glasco in the spring of 1994.

After working for 7 seasons in Mexico at several of the existing hunting lodges Glasco envisioned the opportunity to create a hunting opportunity for his clients that would far out perform any existing lodges at that time.

Not only did CFO become the most efficient and effective hunting lodge in Eastern Mexico, they grew from a modest 80 hunters in 1994 to over 250 in 2005-06 seasons.

The secret to the CFO success is simple! Attention to detail, great hunts and friendly, family type atmosphere which owner Gerry Glasco insist upon between guides and guest. The loyal following of Glasco´s customers which allowed him to begin CFO in the early 1990´s, remain very evident in the current clientele of our organization. Our hunters are “hunters”, serious about the sport and expect the best that hunting has to offer each winter as they visit our camps.

Almost all of our clients are referred to us by existing customers, and on any given year our camps are nearly fully rebooked by the repeat customers each year. All new customers are gained by referral as CFO does not advertise. Our clients’ money is directed toward the actual hunt, not toward advertising or booking agents, as Gerry personally books each group year after year!

The addition of the South Dakota Rocky Ridge Hunting Club and Los Potos Locos (Those Crazy Ducks!) Hunting Camp in Southern Mexico has created an opportunity to include many of the groups that have wanted to hunt with CFO in the past. CFO is excited and energized by the opportunity to provide its customers with other exciting and memorable hunting experiences.

Like the main camp in San Fernando, both the South Dakota and Southern Mexico operations will be built around good vehicles, friendly and hard working guides, outstanding food and service, and most importantly are in areas with vast amount of game.

Henry Scott is now working with Gerry in all phases of management of CFO and has provided a youthful spark to the entire operation. Henry is a very hard worker and very fluent in Spanish.  Henry will head up the South Dakota pheasant hunting operation as on site manager.
