Dove Hunting
Fall Dove
CFO will begin operating whitewing dove shoots in the fall of 2002. Tamauliupas, Mexico, has long been a favorite destination of dove shooters because it is the summer home to millions of whitewing dove. CFO will operate its dove hunts with the same efficiency and coordination it has become known for during the winter season. Hunters can expect to average between 5 to 10 boxes of shells per shoot.
Season: Mid-August-Mid-October

Winter Dove
Mourning dove hunting has become a favorite to many of our CF clients who hunt with us each year. Millions of mourning dove flood the San Fernando, Mexico, area each winter as they migrate south from the cold weather of the Midwest. Dove shooting is fast and furious, and it is not uncommon to have hunters shoot over 10 boxes in a half day hunt. These mourning dove are possibly the sportiest shooting bird in the world as they dart and dive past the lines of shooters. Dove hunting can be combined with duck and quail, or can be hunted exclusively during your visit to our camp.
Season: November 1---February 28
