INSTRUCTIONS FOR OBTAINING A MEXICAN HUNTING LICENSE AND/OR FIREARMS PERMIT

Please read the following instructions carefully and return all the forms and the required items to the following address.

ALL FORMS MUST BE RETURNED TO US AT LEAST 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF HUNT.

If you are using the lodge guns, complete the hunting license/Gun Permit application and write “using lodge guns” in the gun description box. Send the following information only:
1. A Xerox copy of the document you plan to use as your proof of citizenship on the trip. Any one of the following three will work.
a. Passport,
b. Birth Certificate and drivers license,
c. Voter’s Registration card and driver’s licence.
You must bring original on the trip.
Note: copy of drivers license should show clearly the face of license holder. Also, address on drivers license should match the address you list on hunting license and gun permit application.

If you are bringing guns, complete the hunting license/Gun Permit application and send the below listed items. There is a $150.00 gun permit charge for those bringing their own guns.
1. 2 passport size photos in color.
2. Xerox copy of one of the following:
a. Passport,
b. Birth Certificate and Drivers License,
c. Voter’s Registration and Driver’s License. Bring original on trip to Mexico.
3. Please make sure gun serial numbers are correct and written so as not to be misinterpreted!
4. Check made out to Crazy Feather Outfitters for $150.00
Exceptions: Minors under 17 are not allowed to take guns into Mexico and must shoot either their parents gun or one of the guns furnished by the lodge. The application should be filled out “minor shooter” in the gun information box.
